heres my first HOUSE mix of 2012, it took awhile for some good tunes to come through after the christmas / New Year lull.. theres cracking new tunes and mixes from Cei Bei, Lady Alma,Ron Trent and DJ Spen,a hot new Sean McCabe remix of the UK HOUSE classic from Poussez vs DeMarkus Lewis, which will be released in a couple of weeks on the excellent Tone Control label.. my fav track of 2012 so far from Monocles and Sleez called 'still'.... as well as some ace 90s grooves from Keicha Jenkins and Deep Sensation.. hope you like it

this is an old mix i originally did nearly 2 years ago, a week after the 40th Southport weekender. it started as a guest mix for a the CJ Cooper show on internet radio (now on www.futurebeatradio.com every Friday 8pm - 10pm).. CJ specialises in 90s house music, and loved what we played in the Sands and asked me to contribute a mix for his show/podcast (http://release-the-pressure.podomatic.com/), so i thought it nice to put together a mix,highlighting some of the older tracks we play in the Sands, some well known and some slightly more obscure, and one new track that fitted well into the mix and went down great in the Sands at the weekender ... i'll have to do a part 2 sometime.
